The lotus is a flower…
Bursting into bloom.
It arises from the darkness…
A muddy, murky hue.
It germinates from waiting…
It’s now ready for what’s new.
It breaks itself out at will…
Determined to follow through.
Rising up out of the darkness…
A golden light shines through.
It pushes its new formation out…
Slowly peeping, looking at the view.
It knows deep within its heart…
It has courage and strength for a brand new start.
It has sat in waiting, learning patience…
Listening in stillness, creating changes.
Changing the broken pieces of the soul…
Nourishing and healing, ready for what’s about to unfold.
So when the time comes for the new world that awaits…
The Lotus can emerge in wholeness, for the new world it creates.
